Manhattan Life Insurance Building
The Manhattan Life Insurance Building was one of the oldest skyscrapers. The building, which rose to 348 ft (106.1 m), was finished in 1894 and had a small expansion in 1904.Located in Manhattan in New York City, the building was demolished in 1930 to make way for the One Wall Street Irving Trust Bank Headquarters Building. Coordinates: 40°42′28″N 74°00′42″W / 40.70778°N 74.01167°W / 40.70778; -74.01167 . It was the first skyscraper to pass the 100 m mark.
